What is a "Jute"?
In the Fall of 2004, Mobile Jutebox owner Erik Branine was blessed with a baby girl named Karissa Joy. Somewhere in those next few months of fatherhood Erik overheard his wife singing a made-up lullaby to that baby girl with the line "little baby Jute you are so very cute" and the nickname stuck.
Today "Jute" is an active 5 year-old with an adventurous spirit and sweet attitude. Erik felt it was only appropriate to name his business after something important to him like family, and "Jutebox" was a unique way to do that.
